Villa Valentina

Holiday Courses

All of our courses, whether a long weekend or a full week, kick off with an introductory lecture specific to the region and its cuisine and culture. Throughout your stay there will be opportunities for wine and olive oil tastings and exposure to the local produce and the traditions associated with its preparation.

Lessons in the kitchen are all hands-on and culminate in the prepared food being eaten for either lunch or dinner! You will be able to choose from a dedicated menu of recipes and will prepare the relevant dishes in groups of two or three whilst also being able to observe what is going on around you. There are never more than fifteen people together in the kitchen, ensuring that you get the best possible tuition with the most delicious results. We cater for all kinds of cooks from the complete novice to the enthusiastic amateur and our aim is to ensure that you enjoy the best possible holiday in a very special place, whilst doing what you like best!

On your own? Come and join us! Where better a place to meet like-minded people than gathered around the stove or sitting under a star-studded sky having enjoyed a delicious home-cooked supper with free-flowing local wines. We are also delighted to welcome non-cooks (accompanying a cook) at each of our venues who will of course have access to all the facilities, are welcome to accompany us on all trips and get to eat the food that you have prepared!

Going on a cookery holiday is one of the best ways to make new friends and it is always delightful to discover how many of our guests form lasting friendships long after they have returned home. For us it is always very special indeed to welcome back previous guests either to the same—or a different location.
