My home region of Tuscany remains one of the most loved areas of Italy for visitors from all over the world. Our venue in La Maremma is the fabulous hotel and spa called Antico Casale di Scansano (www.anticocasalediscansano.it), near the little town of Scansano—made famous for the local red wine called Morellino di Scansano. The hotel is very comfortable and extremely restful, tucked into the valley with gorgeous views over the densely wooded valley.
In addition to the four hands-on cookery sessions and the various culinary ventures into the surrounding area, we have included as part of the programme three massage or treatment sessions of your choice. You will also have free use of the two swimming pools, the hot tub, sauna and steam room—whenever you feel like it! This is the perfect break for those who want to learn about Tuscan cuisine, enjoy some of the best food and wine the region has to offer, whilst being more than pleasantly pampered!
